The process, which is pattented by Quinua Real, achieves greater flavour and purity by extracting the drink from whole grain rice and quinoa which are cooked separately, with the liquid extracted through centrifugation. The ingredients are mixed, filtered and sterilized for 1 to 5 seconds at 140 -150° C before being packaged in sterilized and aseptic tetra cartons.
